Day 2 - Gym & Library

After 10+ hours of sleep last night, I feel good! Went to the gym this morning, pictured here. Weirdest gym I've ever been to – it has multiple floors and is in what appears to have been an old house – but it's right across from my apartment and has lots of classes, so I'm a fan. Two month membership, check! This summer will NOT be another Chile (some of you know what I mean :P).
After two hours of a muscle toning class and machine pilates (which is hard!! I had no idea!!), I came back and took a shower, and decided to go to the Biblioteca Nacional de la República Argentina. The building is super cool (see below), but overall I was kind of disappointed -- no internet at all in the library, very hard-to-use catalogue system, and you have to request and then wait for each book (although the wait time is not nearly as long as it sometimes is in Phillips, and you get your name put on a cool screen when it's ready -- we should have that!). After randomly requesting something that seemed mildly related to my subject to see how the process worked, I ended up with some huge book of labor laws from 2005. Actually could be useful, but too big and overwhelming to deal with today...
After I came back, I had a meeting with my housing coordinator, which went well. Just have to figure out how to pay her.. whoops. Then had the lovely surprise of working internet again (the signal is kind of bad here, it was down all last night and this morning).

Tonight I'm going to a tango performance with Alan and his school group, which I'm excited about (have to miss a Harvard dinner at my friend from school who lives here's house though, which is unfortunate).

Ciao!
